Artifacts in STALCRAFT: X define your character's survivability. Without a build you have 100 effective HP. With the right combination in a container — 300-400. These aren't abstract numbers: in a 1v1 firefight, the player with higher effective HP wins.

Speed Builds

Artifacts for movement speed: Battery, Spiral, Snowflake, Helium, Frame. These builds are essential for fast farming, running across locations, and delivering loot. In Berloga-4, a basic speed combo costs 40-60 thousand. In Berloga-6 — from 300 thousand, but speed bonus reaches +16%.

Tank Builds (HP)

Tank — slang for maximum survivability builds. Key artifacts: Bracelet, Vortex, Polyhedron, Transformer. The top combination in Hive gives +35 health with +90% healing efficiency. Such a character is hard to kill even for experienced PvP players.

Bullet Resistance Builds

Raisin, Cryogen, Bubblegum — artifacts that reduce bullet damage. Especially valuable in PvP. The "Fortress" combo in Hive gives +42% bullet resistance with +28 health. A compromise option in Berloga-6 costs 400-450 thousand.

Artifact Containers in STALCRAFT

KZS-2 — two slots, the first container for beginners. Berloga-4 — the sweet spot, four slots at a reasonable price. KZS-5 — intermediate option with five cells. Berloga-6 — six slots, the main choice for endgame. ZIVCAS ArticSafe-6 — an alternative with different wear mechanics. Hive — the best container in the game: six slots, minimal restrictions, fits almost any armor.

Where to Find Artifacts in STALCRAFT

Artifacts appear in anomalies after emissions. The further north — the more artifacts. Quantity also depends on server population. Gravitational spawn in Vortex, Carousel, Trampoline anomalies. Biochemical — in Jelly, Roast. Electrophysical — in Electra. Thermal — in Brazier, Aspic. You'll need a detector: Candle (newbie), Belukha (stalker), Buryat (veteran), Elbrus (master).

Regalia, Rubik, Atom Artifacts

Regalia — a valuable gravitational artifact, comes in normal, black, and gold variants. Black Regalia gives maximum survivability bonus among its type. Rubik — an electrophysical artifact with a unique combination of protective properties. Atom — a universal "ultimate" artifact protecting against multiple contamination types simultaneously. Eye of the Storm — Atom's analog focused on thermal/bio protection. All are expensive but pay off in endgame.

What is effective health?

Effective HP — a complex indicator accounting for base HP, bullet resistance, tear protection, and healing efficiency. Calculated automatically by the calculator. Higher means the character survives longer in combat. A "naked" character has ~100 effective HP, a well-built one — 350-450.

Hive or Berloga-6 — which to choose?

Hive is better stats-wise: wider armor compatibility, fewer restrictions. Berloga-6 is significantly cheaper. For PvP — Hive. For farming — Berloga is enough. ZIVCAS ArticSafe-6 — a compromise between them in price, but with its own wear specifics.
